An insider reveals, "The first schedule will be in Mumbai. Kareena plays a Pakistani CIA agent in the film, and sports five different looks - a first for her. She will be wearing different looks with prosthetics (think Hrithik's guises in Dhoom 2)."

Kareena is naturally very excited about her role. She believes AV will be a cool and intelligent film. She calls it a very 'Saif style' film. Currently, Bebo is shooting for a shampoo ad in Malaysia. She returns later this week and then heads to Goa for Golmaal 3, then joins Saif on set on May 25. In the meantime, she is in talks with designer Aki Narula for her various looks.

Kareena's character works for a bunch of corporate honchos who want to rake in the profits from a war-like scenario in the Asian subcontinent. But she is actually a spy for the Pakistani government. 'What is interesting is that she and Saif are not romantically paired in the film.'

Kareena says, "I am very excited to be a part of Shriram's film. It's a great script. I am happy that Agent Vinod is starting soon. I am working on my various looks for the film. It's something I haven't attempted before."

Agent Vinod: The plot unfolds
Agent Vinod's character has been moulded on 007, on Jack Bauer (the government agent in the American TV series 24) and on Jason Bourne, the CIA assassin in Robert Ludlum's novels and its film adaptations. Agent Vinod will be filmed at exotic locations all over the globe.

The plot unfolds with a caretaker being murdered and a grave being dug open in Uzbekistan. In Hamburg, a scientist is kidnapped, while in London, a painter is murdered. Elsewhere, an Indian agent is caught spying. He manages to flee and send a warning that someone is planning a conspiracy against India. This is when Agent Vinod steps in to save the country from disaster.

This couple is close friends of Karisma and her hubby Sanjay Kapur. The Kapoors actually threw a private bash for their important friends who flew in on a charter for just one evening. So, naturally, a special chef was asked to come and do the honors of feeding the VIP guests. Now, the question arises as to who comprised the second couple fed on the occasion. No guess, it was Bebo and her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, who else?

The latest is that Saif is enamoured by Kareena's kohl-lined eyes. His fascination started after seeing how expressive her kohl-lined eyes looked in the first half of Kurbaan.

In fact, Saif couldn't stop looking at Kareena every time she would do up her eyes for the film. It only made Saif realise how much Bebo loves kajal. Now, Saif's close observation has gone beyond the film.

We now know one very private secret of the couple. While watching Kareena getting ready to accompany him for a recent event, Saif, who normally leaves everything aside to watch her eyes transform after she puts on her kajal, told someone around that he can never have enough of this moment. The actor is said to have said, "God, Bebo hardly uses any make up. She just uses a simple kohl pencil and her eyes light up."
Saif himself is not comfortable talking too much about his love for Kareena's gorgeous peepers but Kareena did admit that even in Agent Vinod her character will have smoky eyes in some portions of the film.

The actress said, "I can't reveal any details on the character but I can say that Saif likes me with my eyes made up like I had done in Kurbaan. Sometimes I do up my eyes that way when I attend functions with him. You could say that he has designed this look for me even in Agent Vinod."

"I can hardly wait to get to Tuscany where we will shoot our second schedule for Agent Vinod and I guess I will be wearing this special make up with nicely done eyes, just the way Saif likes them,'' gushed Kareena.

Film producer Boney Kapoor is a worried man. He has fixed a date for the release of his Shahid-Kareena-starrer Milenge Milenge and planned a promotional video for the film, but he can’t get Kareena Kapoor to shoot for it. Boney wanted both actors to shoot for the video together, but couldn’t get them to do it.
Shahid finished shooting his portions of the video in late March and since then, the producer has been busy persuading Kareena.. He says, “Shahid shot for the video, but I am yet to get a nod from Kareena. I think she is busy shooting for Golmaal 3. I am waiting for her to get free.
”The song, composed by Himesh Reshammiya and choreographed by Ahmad Khan, has some interesting lyrics for the actors, who also happen to be ex-lovers. A line in the song goes Sab kuchh khatm hokar bhi tere mere darmiyaan kuchh to baqi hai (Despite everything being over, something still remains between you and me).
According to Shahid: “(The) Media is making a lot of assumptions. I never said that I wished to do the promotional video with Kareena. I’ve always maintained that I’ll do whatever my producer asks me to. He asked me to shoot for a solo video, I agreed.” A unit member reveals that Shahid has also consented to promote the film with Bebo.
“Shahid has told Boney that he’ll promote the film with Kareena, but she is not keen,” says the source. The producer says, “The film will definitely release on June 25. It’d be nice if they promote the film together. But I don’t have a final call on it. They have agreed to promote it, but not together, yet.”

Saif and Kareena did ‘Kurbaan’ that was a dud at the box office and wasn’t appreciated by the critics either. The simple fact is that Kareena on reel doesn’t look as good opposite Saif as she looks opposite Shahid or even Aamir.
But, love is prompting them to do more films together so that they may spend quality time with each other. On the other hand, Kareena’s biggest hit yet was opposite Shahid in ‘Jab We Met’ (not counting ‘3 Idiots’ as Kareena’s role was a minuscule one) but their mutual rivalry becomes a barrier for a film maker who wishes to re-create the magic of Aditya-Geet chemistry.
On the other hand, a balding Saif is more suited to do roles opposite other actresses but he, too, is keen to work only with Bebo. This is a tad senseless call from the couple as their respective careers are suffering a setback owing to their poor decision. A film called ‘Agent Vinod’ is in the pipeline that stars Saifeena but I don’t have any enthusiasm for its release and am not going to put my money on the film.
I don’t think Kareena is going to gain anything by doing such a film when she can do many other wonderful rom-coms opposite younger actors (counting Aamir who is ageing backwards) or can cement her position with women-centric roles. But, as is the saying, love is blind and it has ruined many a lives and history will vouch for that.

The release of Milenge Milenge now depends on Kareena Kapoor. Producer Boney Kapoor met her for the publicity of the film before she left for Goa to shoot for Ra.One. Shahid Kapoor has done his bit. Now it's up to Kareena Kapoor to see when their pending film Milenge Milenge is released.



Shahid shot the music video for the film with choreographer on March 26 with Ahmed Khan. The track written by Sameer Anjaan and composed by Himesh Reshammiya goes... 'Sab kuch khatam hokar bhi tere mere darmiyaan kuch to baqi hai...'


And now Boney waits not-so-patiently for Kareena to do the needful. Says Boney, "Yes, now the release would depend entirely on when Kareena allots the dates to shoot the music video. I've slotted the release for the last week of June or the first week of July. I'm hopeful that Bebo's portions of the music video and other publicity footage would be shot and ready. So yes the release is now in Bebo's hands."

Kareena who is in Goa doesn't quite share Shahid's enthusiasm for the publicity and marketing of .Milenge Milenge.

Boney doesn't deny he met Kareena over the matter. "But she made it clear she was willing to co-operate in every way. Let's put this way. I don't want to put Bebo under any discomfort. She's a girl I've watched grow in front of my eyes and I'm very protective of her."

Boney insists it's a marketing strategy to feature Shahid and Kareena separately in the promotional video. However, the fact of the matter is, Kareena for whatever reasons of her own decided not to do any collaborative marketing of Milenge Milenge with Shahid. And her space as a woman and a professional must be respected.

When told that that perhaps the other-half of the Milenge Milenge pair was not willing to do collaborative publicity Shahid reacted with annoyance. "Arrey yaar I'm all for the film. I'm willing to do whatever Boneyji asks me to. I don't know about the rest."

An unwell Kareena Kapoor overlooked her ill-health and accompanied actor beau Saif Ali Khan to the capital on Wednesday for the Padma awards ceremony.
According to industry sources, the actress recently returned after shooting for Shah Rukh Khan starrer Ra.One in Goa, and did not want Saif to be alone in his moment of glory.
Saif's parents cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore were out of town and did not attend the ceremony.
The actor received the Padma Shri from President Pratibha Patil.
Saif wore a white sherwani while the actress wore an off-white coloured outfit designed by Manish Malhotra.

After endorsing brands like Sony Vaio, Head and Shoulders and Airtel, Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor is taking on the mobile phone industry as she has decided to become the face of Sony Ericsson's XPERIA and Vivaz range.

During the press conference in New Delhi, Bebo posed for the cameras and happily showed off the new phones with cool graphics and lots of gadgets!
At the press conference, Sony Ericsson's Corporate Vice President & Head of Asia Pacific region, Hirokazu Ishizuka, had this to say about Kareena coming on board:
"Being one of the most widely-followed youth-icons, Kareena matches the level of energy, vibrancy, passion and fun associated with Sony Ericsson, and thereby elevates the aspiration value of the brand.

And Kareena seemed very pleased with the endorsement deal as well:

On the personal front, Bebo is blissed out with the arrival of her nephew. "The name Kiaan Raj was chosen by Karisma," she reveals. "And actually, we are more thrilled with a Kapoor boy coming along, coz' we've been an all woman family all along."
